Why did he leave?

 A long time contributor to the modding community of a game I like had left the scene.

I had tried to reach out to him in Mar for permission to use his content. In Apr, I noted that he has visited the forums but did not reply to me. I went ahead with the publication and added an acknowledgement to his original post.

Today, someone noted that the links he posted were broken. On examination, it looks like all his posts had been deleted. Even his post in another forum had been scrubbed of information - this happened 3 days ago.
